This weekend (April 20 – 21, 2013) Bend will likely see more open houses in one weekend than any other time this year. The National Association of Realtors® is sponsoring a nationwide open house and is encouraging all real estate agents to hold open houses for their listings.
This is great news for those looking to buy a house in Bend because it makes house hunting simple. For two days this weekend you can hop in the car and tour homes for sale in Bend without having to make an appointment. It’s a great way to see a lot of houses in a short period of time and it is also a guilt free way to check out some houses that are above your price range.
Sellers should be excited about this weekend and asking their real estate agents to hold their homes open. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your property noticed as the high number of open houses in Bend will bring out a higher number than usual of people who want to see them. This weekend will also offer a chance to get some good feedback about what people like and more importantly dislike about your home. Knowing what potential buyers dislike about a home gives sellers insight into why the house may not be selling so that you can make changes or improvements accordingly.
