For the 22nd year Thursday nights will be rockin’ in downtown Bend at Drake Park. Munch and Music is a free concert series that runs for six consecutive Thursdays from July 12 through August 16. This year’s music lineup (scroll to the bottom for the full schedule) features a couple surprising names from the 80’s. Do you remember Modern English? Maybe this will refresh your memory.

Hopefully both of these bands will still have some of the swagger that made them so popular in the 80’s. But music isn’t the only thing happening on Thursday nights. As the name implies, there is plenty to munch on from local restaurants and food carts. Plus a whole section of the park devoted to Jump N Fun Inflatables for the kids. Canoes and kayaks are also available for rent behind the main stage so you can paddle around Mirror Pond while listening to great live music. And don’t forget the beer garden featuring Deschutes Brewery beers including the “Most Refreshing Beer in the World” Twilight Summer Ale.
Bring a blanket and your appetite and come experience a Bend tradition, Thursday nights starting at 5:30.
